Shipping & JIT Capabilities
UTM's shipping department offers customers both On Time and Just In Time inventory control capabilities. Our customers do not have to carry large quantities of parts in their inventory. This allows companies to place blanket orders and have them delivered as needed.
The shipping department also functions as a final check point for quality control. Even after a part passes through UTM's quality department, the shipping department staff re-inspects for visual defects as they are packed into boxes for final delivery. This is one reason UTM has an excellent reputation for shipping quality parts in a timely manner.
